The Subtext acts as an incubator for early professionals. It is a place for clinicians and students seeking thoughtful, ethical, and evidence-based guidance and education. Some professional offerings are:
- Individual consultation
- Group consultation
- Clinical supervision towards LCSW licensure
- Internship opportunities
The Subtext, does not offer full-time positions. We’ve been in the field long enough to recognize that it is extremely difficult to offer ethical full-time employment to early professionals. Most boutique NYC-based private practices cannot guarantee their employees a full livable wage, health insurance, paid time off or sick leave. We cannot in good conscience agree to this type of employment.
